The film will be available worldwide on the visually immersive 270-degree panoramic ScreenX theaters starting May 27, but fans in the US will have the opportunity to can the film early on Tuesday, May 24 at 7PM at select locations. With such a visual feast ahead, it's no wonder that Top Gun: Maverick is set to have 56 minutes of added imagery in the stunning format that CJ 4DPLEX is known for. In particular, the film focuses on his dynamic with the son of his fallen partner, Nick "Goose" Bradshaw (Anthony Edwards), nicknamed "Rooster" (Miles Teller, The Offer). Top Gun: Maverick, directed by Joseph Kosinski, follows Maverick as he attempts to train the next generation of pilots.
