Pianoteq Stage is a powerful virtual piano that gives you the ability to customize your sound in a variety of ways. Were not scaremongering This is really happening, happening. But for grand piano sounds, I would never use it. Keyscape looks and sounds very good but at the same time the size of their library samples intimidates me compared to the Pianoteq VST which doesnt use samples and that makes the VST less heavy. Electric pianos have a lot of 'meat' to them, for example. As a sampling job, it is stellar, and I would use it for the more imaginative patches. ![]() One is definitely more focused around your wants in your OP. If you wanna just play realistic piano I would recommend pianoteq, but if you want something that sounds nicer, then go with keyscape, garritan cfx, ravenscroft 275, vsl cfx, addictive keys, or native instruments. Keyscape doesn't support continuous sustain pedal, doesn't have modelled sympathetic resonance.
